My current title is Executive Editor of Guitar World. During the ten-plus years I’ve been employed at the brand I’ve built a versatile portfolio that includes content creation and strategy, and team management, across print and digital mediums.
I create long-form editorial and video content in multiple channels with artists including Roger Waters, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Foo Fighters, Slayer and Tool. I established the editorial strategy, redesign and SEO optimization of GuitarWorld.com, where I also launched microsites, produced video content and directed the social media strategy.
I have also served as the Director of Digital Content at our sister brand, RevolverMag.com, where I oversaw the editorial schedule, produced co-branded video programs and developed social media campaigns, artist partnerships and event-based activations (including Revolver’s nationally televised Golden Gods Awards Show).
I’ve also developed branded content campaigns for Vice/Harley-Davidson and Nokia, which included digital strategy, video seeding and social media outreach. Additionally, my writing has appeared in outlets such as Revolver, Alternative Press, CMJ, Inked, Bass Guitar, Future Music and Guitar World Acoustic.
